Garlic Truffle Fries ($15)

Chunky Cut Fries drizzled liberally with Truffle Oil and topped with Shaved Parmesan and Roasted Garlic Bit. We were full of expectations for this because 

1. First time seeing chunky truffle fries instead of the usual shoestring ones 

2. Highly raved by other foodies

3. TRUFFLE!!

However we were very disappointed, even those who had this before said the standards have dropped :( There was barely any hint of truffle!

Carbonara Classico ($17)

Carbonara done the classic way with Sauteed Crispy Bacon, Fresh Milled Pepper, Tempered Egg Yolk, Splash of White Wine and Loads of Shaved Cheese. The classic version is done without cream! Great news for the waist line :)

This is one of their signature dishes and it was indeed rich, creamy (even though no cream was added) and cheesy! Good for sharing as one might get sick of it easily, not for me though as I LOVE cheesy stuff

Four Seasons - Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, Sliced Artichokes, Black Olives, Gammon Ham and Mushroom

4 different toppings on a pizza! 

Tartufo E Uovo/Truffle and Egg - Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, Black Truffle Paste, Rucola Leaves and a Soft Egg set in the center.

The star of the day! What's not to love when there is truffle and a runny yolk? :)

Pronounced taste of truffle and the richness of the yolk offset by refreshing rucola leaves. Absolutely delightful.

Moved on to Becasse @ ION for desserts!

My Iced Mocha ($7) came with ice cream! This tasted like a chocolate milkshake instead and it was too sweet for my liking

$20/pax, we ordered a set for 2 :)

Imagine our excitement when this arrived!!! I think we spent a good old 15 minutes taking pictures hahahaha

As pretty and fancy as it looks, none of the treats were spectacular and we were not wowed by any :( Most of them were too sweet.

 

Sticky Date Pudding $9

Super moist sticky date pudding with warm bananas, vanilla ice cream and butterscotch sauce! VVV addictive

Salted Caramel Tart! Loved the fragrance of salted caramel and the crumbly pastry :)
