The Lokal // Nunsaram

Back at The Lokal!

We arrived at about 11am on a weekday afternoon and it was surprisingly quiet and empty, much to our delight :-)

 Pimp Your Breakfast
Sauteed mushrooms ($4), scrambled eggs ($5), roast chicken ($6) and avocado ($5)

All my favourites! :) However this was underwhelming and awfully expensive as it is something easily replicable at home :(

Avocados were hard and some parts were sour (not from the lemon) :/ Scrambled eggs were watery as well.

Iced Mocha ($6.50) & Iced Vanilla Latte ($6.50)

Toasted Banana Bread with homemade vanilla yogurt, toasted macadamia nuts ($12)

One of the popular items on the menu, this was yummy! Banana bread was soft and moist, though a tad sweet :) The tangy yogurt + lime zest went well with the sweet caramalized bananas and the toasted nuts heightened the overall flavor :)

Desserts at Nunsaram! By the people who runs K-cook :)

Love the spacious area and comfortable setting :)

Only after we arrived then we realized that there's another branch at Westgate which is SO much nearer to us HAHA

Green Tea Snow Flake Bingsu ($13.90)

Loooove the red beans ("pat") *_*

More affordable than other places but the portion is comparatively smaller :)

Pouring condensed milk - which I wasn't a big fan of.

Prefer Nunsongyee's sweetened milk :)

He said we should pour on the ice flakes instead of the ice cream hahahaha makes sense

Smooth and fluffy shaved ice which melted pretty quickly but I love the faint taste of milk which went well with the almond flakes and red beans :)
