Village Hotel Bugis Staycation

Staycation at Village Hotel Bugis!

This was a surprise from him right after my final exams :')

Lunch was at The Coffee Club <3

He booked the Superior Room with Free Wi-Fi (32sqm) and paid about $125 (Friday night) via Agoda which was a pretty good deal, considering it's close proximity to Bugis Junction, Bugis+, Bugis Village, Arab Street and Haji Lane.

p.s. Lots of cafes nearby!!! :)

It was so nice to chillax here right after my exams, watching our current favourite show (The Return of Superman) and having fruits together :')

He managed to check-in early at about 12pm :)
Thank you for stocking up the mini fridge with all my favorite fruits <3

Initially I was doubtful because we had to enter the hotel via Golden Landmark which was considerably old and dubious :P However I was pleasantly surprised when I stepped inside!

I love the boutique and modern feel of our room and it felt so cozy :') A special shout-out to the high ceiling which made the entire room feels more spacious :)

Toilet was very clean as well!! (most important thing to me hahaha)

Headed out to get foooood ^^

Explored Liang Seah Street first :) Lots of steamboat restaurants and chinese desserts here!

We tried all 4 flavours but they were miserably filled and underwhelming :(

Avocados <3

Always buying food back to eat in the room hahaha

We topped up for their breakfast buffet and the spread was okay, food was cold and tasted pretty bland.

Do note that there are 2 restaurants available here, one of it caters Halal food :)

Eggs & Toast section :)

Kimchi Korean Restaurant @ Suntec City for lunch!

Samgae Ramen (chicken ginseng broth with chicken leg and korean noodles) & Dae Ji Dolsot Bap (hot stone bibimbap with pork bulgogi)

Overall it was a marvelous staycation at Village Hotel Bugis :) The location was superb as we get to take a slow stroll around Haji Lane and Arab Street at night, grab our meals and do some light shopping at Bugis :)))) Too bad we didn't have the stomach space to explore the surrounding cafes!
