{Recipe} Healthy No-Bake Raw Brownies

I'm a BIG fan of chocolates and nuts so this recipe is totally me. The thought of eating brownies without all the sugar, butter and flour was intriguing, and i was interested to find out!

These brownies are vegan, Gluten-free, Wheat-free, Lactose-free, Dairy-free and best of all, guilt-free! Made with natural ingredients, these brownies are actually GOOD for you *_* (everything in moderation, of course)

The recipe makes a small batch (9 squares!) and i will certainly double/triple it the next time I'm making these, which is soon ;)

INGREDIENTS

100g walnuts (feel free to mix and match the proportions with almonds too!)
60g raw cacao powder (cocoa powder is fine too)
1/2 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
1 tbsp organic cacao nibs
1/2 tsp pink Himalayan salt/regular table salt
7-8 pitted dates

METHOD

1. Blend nuts, cacao powder, chia seeds, cacao nibs and salt using a high-speed food processor until it resembles coarse sand. Transfer into a separate bowl.

2. Blend pitted dates until smooth.

3. Add in the nut mixture and blend till well-incorporated and the mixture comes together in a ball. If too dry, add more dates.

4. Scoop the dough out onto a sheet pan lined parchment paper and press it into a large rectangle. Pack it tight!

5. Sprinkle your favourite toppings and press it into the brownie dough.

6. Chill slightly in fridge before serving!

Feel free to add honey/maple syrup if it isn't sweet enough for you! Top it off with your favourite toppings such as desiccated coconut, pretzels, chocolate chips, or chopped nuts of your choice.

These goodies are so rich and 1 square goes a long way :) Perfect for that mid-afternoon slump! :)
